Good Afternoon, Family:

In response to a fistful of emails and texts received this morning, it looks like it is important for me to respond to a couple of posts alleged to have come from me and appearing on some Dinar sites.

I know that many of you have wondered if I fell off the turnip truck, or simply faded away because I have not been posting of late, but even when I've sent out what were intended to be private communiques to a very small group of people with specific instructions that the emails were NOT to be re-posted or distributed in any form anywhere.

Folks have violated the confidence and my emails have still wound up being posted either in part or in some form in such a way as to distort what I've said.

For that reason, I've backed away from sharing much of anything with folks for several weeks. The flow of intel to me has not stopped, but because there has been so much activity and so many changes occurring behind the scenes, it has seemed to better part of wisdom to shut up for awhile until the intel stabilized.

A LOOK AT "THEM VS US" AND WHY IT MUST BE DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME

IT WAS EASY TO MANAGE A COMPILATION OF 100K SOPHISTICATED INVESTORS MIXED WITH SEVERAL UNINFORMED "COOKIE CUTTER" EXCHANGE TRANSACTIONS THROUGH A NETWORKED SYSTEM OF KNOWN CONTACTS OVER A 60 DAY PERIOD,

THOSE TWO FACTIONS CAUSE THE LEAST STRESS ON THE SYSTEM......

IT WAS UGLY BUT IT WORKED. WE MIGHT EVEN LOOK AT IT CONSTRUCTIVELY AS A BETA TEST.

THE PROCESS IMPLEMENTATION AND TESTING WE SEE TODAY, I ASSUME, ARE TO PREPARE FOR 5 MILLION INFORMED BUT GENERALLY INEXPERIENCED, UNSOPHISTICATED AND ANXIOUS INVESTORS WITHOUT CONTACTS AND IN SOME CASES NOT EVEN ESTABLISHED ACCOUNTS (THE MOST TIME CONSUMING AND STRESSFUL FACTION)

Economic Commission expects the dollar due to delay budget    03/01/2014

BAGHDAD / JD /. Economic Commission predicted high sale price of the dollar, due to the delay in approving the budget, while suggesting that the long delay will lead to disruption of the pay of retirees, and install the grades

A member of the Economic Commission MP Albjara told Nora / JD / that the issue of the budget has become a political issue more than it is the subject of state-building economic cares, expressing the regret of the government to pursue the introduction of political file in each ăć.

Here are the Overnight and Saturday Morning News Summaries

A market economy requires the implementation of direct contracts

This article talks about some of what has happened to Iraq with the lifting of Ch VII....they have identified a big need to strengthen the economy and the need to facilitate procedures for contracting with foreign companies that would not lead to corruption, such as what happened with the oil for food program....

they also note that the emergence of Iraq into Ch VIII would bring investments especially regarding infrastructure that would lead to new economic development...

it is good they recognize the need to put effective contracts in place to better manage their business.

TNT:

Tropical Rock Star:    Funny and true bank story. I don't have a WF account, yet, so I went to Wells Fargo with a close friend who was doing some banking today and did a test. I asked if they did currency exchange, the teller said yes and asked which currency, I said Iraq Dinar. She looked at me like she never heard of that currency and everybody else in the bank looked at me immediately like I was going to rob the place. Don't tell me they don't know what's going on.

Takenbythewind:   I was told by a banking contact that it took two months for roll out the RV. If the Maliki elections end April 30, if that is true, then this needs to be done today for his reelection.

[freewill] gm all. I'm reading everything and it seems like some are getting down. I know this is very difficult but hopefully it's one day closer and when this gets me down, I think to myself "well, at least I'm invested and one day it will be better for myself and my family. My life will be better because I've invested than if I didn't. . Try to stay hopeful folks. Blessings to everyone. :)

Daughter's Facebook Brag Costs Her Family $80,000

By Elise Sol, Shine Staff | Parenting -

Call it the biggest Facebook mistake ever. A daughter's snarky status update has cost her father the $80,000 settlement he won in an age-discrimination lawsuit.

According to the Miami Herald, Patrick Snay, 69, was the headmaster at Gulliver Preparatory School in Miami for several years, but in 2010, the school didn't renew his contract. Snay sued his former employer for age discrimination and won a settlement of $80,000 in November 2011. The agreement contained a standard confidentiality clause, prohibiting Snay or the school from talking about the case.

However, Snay's daughter, Dana, now at Boston College and a part-time Starbucks barista, couldn't resist bragging about the case on Facebook. "Mama and Papa Snay won the case against Gulliver," she wrote. "Gulliver is now officially paying for my vacation to Europe this summer. SUCK IT."

IMF says taxing super rich can boost economic growth

Published time: February 27, 2014

A new International Monetary Fund study has found that taxing the super wealthy doesn't stunt the economic growth of a country, and that redistribution can actually spur gross domestic product.

The paper argues inequality is harmful to a country's growth, and that redistributing wealth using taxes can reduce inequality and boost growth and the length of growth cycles.

"There is surprisingly little evidence that increases in tax rates impede medium-to-long-run economic growth," the IMF paper says.
