What's All the Hoopla?

Hoopla is a new service coming on July 6th to the library which provides patrons downloadable and streaming access to digital movies, tv shows, music, ebooks, and audiobooks. Patrons will be able to "borrow" 8 items per month. Hoopla doesn't replace our movie, music or audiobook collections, but allows the library to greatly expand our offerings to those patrons with computer access at home. Stream content on your computer using your wifi connection, or download content onto mobile devices. Loan periods vary. Simply signup at the site below. All you need is an email address to create a password for the site, and your library card number and password (set to the last 4 digits of your phone number, unless you have changed it). That's it!

Game Night

Next Game Night is Wednesday, July 15 @ 6:00pm in the Lecture Hall.

Game Night in May and June was a huge hit with over 25 people coming to play tabletop games at the Library with friends and neighbors. Folks met new people, enjoyed several games, and reluctantly left at closing. We did a survey and determined that Wednesday works best for most, and people seemed excited to have a regular game night; therefore, we will have a regular monthly game night at the library to be held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 6-8pm. A big thank you to Diversions Puzzles and Games Store who donated many games, and had staff show up in May and June to help with Game Night. Thank you also to volunteers who helped people learn new games.
