Discovery Program Dinner & Silent Auction

Slice - 5th Annual Dinner on the Farm
Special Discount for CSA Members

We would like to extend a special invitation to Live Earth Farm CSA Members to attend Slice on September 14th for a discounted price. CSA members will enjoy 10% off tickets to Slice.
On September 14th, 2013, the Live Earth Farm Discovery Program will host Slice, our 5th Annual Dinner on the Farm to support hands-on, farming programs for kids of all ages. We will celebrate Apples and Agriculture in the Pajaro Valley with local food, wine, live music, an auction and great company!

A Busy Week - I'll keep it short  
  
Yesterday we completed our annual organic certification audit, always a relief since it involves a diverse and organized trail of paperwork and on-site inspections to demonstrate how we meet all the national organic rules and regulations - a list that never tends to get simpler or shorter.
SLICE (still time to sign up) -this Saturday's Discovery Program Fundraiser, is very timely since the event is located between our Gala orchard and Fuji apple orchard. The Gala's are ripe and currently being harvested, and the Fuji orchard, hanging heavy with fruit, is still 2-3 weeks off. It's a great setting, and the menu is highlighting this wonderful fruit to honor an important slice of our Valley's farming history. Hope you can make it.

Convenience makes a big difference in today's busy world, so we are looking to expand our CSA program to include Workplace CSA locations.  Want to get your share delivered to your place of business?  We are seeking individuals in our community to become sponsors for Workplace CSA locations.  This could be as little as putting us in touch with the right person, to being the host of a location at your place of employment.

Our Farm Stand is Open


Come visit the Farm on a Saturday and go home with fresh produce.  Our Farm Stand is open Saturday's from 10am - 3pm at our Green Valley Barn at 1275 Green Valley Rd near Watsonville.
