Hello!
Here's the latest line-up of September art classes as our Summer 2013 whirls to a finale. Last weekend's festival of encaustic experiences with Lisa Marie Sipe was a huge success--two workshop days of enthusiastic encaustic artmaking and a stunning Sunday special art show and reception.
As Steve, our Earthworks neighbor remarked, " New York City has come to Yachats!"
We look forward to another spectacular Sunday event on September 22 with a presentation of Serena Barton's Encaustic artwork and a booksigning of her current publication,
Wabi-Sabi Art Workshop: Mixed Media Techniques for Embracing Imperfection and Celebrating Happy Accidents

At this time, our workshop, "Buried Treasure--Encaustic with Mixed Media" with Serena Barton is FULL, but we have created a Wait List.
Only four more art opportunities remain for BLOOM!'s 2013 art season on the Oregon coast. Don't let September slide by without taking advantage of some creativity-nurturing experiences at ocean's edge.

 Tuesday, September 17th
Marion Moir, a versatile Newport artist and BLOOM! fav, returns to share a new process she learned in Hawaii.
Whether you collage, scrapbook, art journal, or just love paper, you will want to join Marion for this class of creating plenty of PRETTY PAPERS!
Marion introduces Nature Printing with acrylics and charcoal powder. Each student will leave class with a plethora of pretty papers for cardmaking, framing, collage, etc.
No prior experience necessary and all materials and tools are provided.
