Country Music Star Inspires Thousands for Life!
Five-time Grammy-nominee and platinum recording artist Collin Raye to perform at DFW's largest pro-life benefit.
DALLAS, FEBRUARY 18, 2014 -- Collin Raye, an award-winning recording artist and author of the new book A Voice Undefeated, will be featured at DFW's largest pro-life benefit on April 5 at the Irving Convention Center.

A professed Christian with a touching testimony of love and life, Collin Raye is also a chart-topping, country music star with five platinum records. The Nashville hit-maker continues to fill concert halls with his stellar vocals and has added religious and inspirational music to his country-pop ballad repertoire.  Collin has also used his stardom to advance worthy causes, including the Terri Schiavo's Life and Hope Network (2011 spokesman), Catholic Relief Services, Boys Town, and others.

In his autobiography scheduled to be released next month, Raye shares his journey to the top of the music world with 8 million records sold, as well as the personal trials he experienced along the way, including the loss of his granddaughter at the age of 10, which inspired his commitment to causes celebrating the sanctity of life.

Patrick Coffin of the acclaimed radio show Catholic Answers, describes the man of faith behind the music:  "The sharp shadow of suffering has fallen across the life of Collin Raye in ways that would have felled lesser men. But, as the Bowie County hit-maker knows well, even the shadows are nothing without the Light. Through the astounding musical gift that earned him five Grammy nominations (and counting), Raye has a rare knack for transforming all that suffering into an experience of indescribable consolation."

On April 5, 2014, Collin Raye will share a musical performance and his powerful personal story at the 21st Annual Pro-Life Dinner hosted by Bishop Kevin Farrell at the Irving Convention Center in Las Colinas.  This event is open to the public, and tickets are available now.  More information about the event can be found at www.prolifedallas.org/dinner.
