In our June issue of World of Wolves, we announced the birth of a litter of critically endangered Mexican gray wolf pups. UPDATE: Since then, we can confirm the birth of TWO MORE litters, for a total of ten pups! There are only about 109 Mexican wolves living in the wild today. They were nearly completely exterminated several decades ago, and every Mexican wolf alive today is genetically related to one of the seven survivors. We are thrilled that now there are ten more in the gene pool.
