AdvisaCare was founded in 1997 in Grand Rapids Michigan. The vision was to create a company that provided both:
(Advice)
*Advice for those that are considering home care or other services to support the care of their loved one(s)
and
(Care)
*Care for those me meet that decide the service we provide is right for them
It was with this in mind that Kris Skogen CEO, embarked on his journey. You see, Kris has a strong background in financial planning and
he noticed that the healthcare system as it functions today leave people either without the care they so desperately need or in great debt. Kris wanted to fill that gap by providing advice on available resources and connecting people with the experts in the community and by providing expert care when people decide that our services are the right fit for them. AdvisaCare is always seeking to know the resources in our community. AdvisaCare believes that survivors of brain and spinal cord injuries and their families should have access to anything that helps in the road to recovery.
I am personally committed to assisting in any way that I can. I can do this by connecting people with support groups, wheelchair repair, educational support, financial support, benefits counseling, therapy, health questions... anything! I am always open to questions and with my training and experience at Craig Hospital, my time in the Army Reserves and my continuing education as an MSN and in the Doctorate program at Arizona State University, I am available and willing to help in any way that I can.
