Ministry of Training Colleges and University's Apprenticeship Awards Luncheon 
 
Congratulations to ArcelorMittal Dofasco for winning the Ministry of Training Colleges & University Minister's Award for Excellence in Apprenticeship Training in the western region.  Shown at left is Louie Leombruni and Dave Cameron with their award.  This award celebrates employers that show leadership in training apprentices, support the apprenticeship training system, and promote careers in skilled trades. AMD is currently training over 80 apprentices in a number of industrial trades.

How internationally educated professionals can fill skills shortages
 
 BioTalent Canada released a new Labour Market Information (LMI) report today focusing specifically on Internationally 

Educated Professionals (IEPs). The report indicates IEPs possess critical skills that are currently in demand in biotech, yet 44.3% are unemployed.
