DESCRIPTION

The Bondi features an early meta-rocker ideal for the runner who enjoys multiple terrain surfaces at all distances. The Bondi 2 is our third largest midsole volume featuring a unique adaptive midsole geometry with built in decoupling zones.

COMFORT AND CUSHIONING: The midsole foam is 30% softer than the material used in traditional running shoes, and there is 2.5 times more volume than in most running shoes. The extra cushioning allows you to soar over any surface.

ROCKERED MIDSOLE GEOMETRY & LOW HEEL-TOE DIFFERENTIAL: A 4mm heel to toe drop and rockered profile creates a unique rolling motion.

CONTROL
: The unique, patented design bucket seat is recessed up to 30mm into the midsole, positioning your foot perfectly to leverage the maximum amount of control as you run.

STABILITY
: The outsole platform is 35% wider, providing a stable base and counterbalancing the excess height a voluminous midsole. Coupled with thermo-polyurethane reinforcements, provides enhanced structure and support.

SUPERIOR TRACTION
: The outsole is designed to provide full contact with the ground at all times. New 4.5 mm lugs provide the depth for ultimate grip and lasting performance. Giving you the confidence to keep going, when the going gets tough. Cruise uphill and fly downhill with confidence.

FEATHERLIGHT WEIGHT
: Only 11.3 ounces and lighter than most trail running shoes, they make running uphill as much fun as they make running downhill.

BENEFITS
: Engineered for maximum cushioning and comfort, while still offering lightweight, nimble performance and uninhibited movement.

What to Wear (for Men): Short Support

Men (and women shopping for men), we have what you're looking for in a running short!

The 2" Split Short:
While these shorts might scare some folks, there is a reason they keep making running shorts with splits on the sides: the split helps prevent riding up and chafing! In addition to a good fit for a long run, this lightweight short offers a single interior hip pocket for a gel and a key or two.

4", 5" or 7" Running Shorts:
Our high perfomance running shorts come in a variety of lengths to accomodate the comforts of any runner. The are all manufactured from moisture wicking, fast drying material and have an interior brief for support and comfort. Many features are availble as well such as side pockets, Hidden side zip pockets for key/I.D, drawstring, or elastic waistbands with internal key/I.D. pockets.

The 2-in-1 Short:
We often overlook the support needs of men. For ladies we spend a lot of time and energy talking about proper fitting sports bras, but for men, we hardly ever discuss running shorts with support. Many men find that the traditional knit brief liner found in many shorts just doesn't cut it. For those in that boat, don't layer up with a bunch of uncomfortable and hot layers, try a 2-in-1 short! Men's 2-in-1 shorts are offered in a variety of styles and lengths.

Come see our knowlegeable staff to help you find the best short for your needs!

Plantar fasciitis is the most common cause of heel pain. The plantar fascia is the flat band of tissue (ligament) that connects your heel bone to your toes. It supports the arch of your foot. If you strain your plantar fascia, it gets weak, swollen, and irritated (inflamed). Then your heel or the bottom of your foot hurts when you stand or walk.

Plantar fasciitis is common in middle-aged people. It also occurs in younger people who are on their feet a lot, like athletes or soldiers. It can happen in one foot or both feet.

What causes plantar fasciitis?

Plantar fasciitis is caused by straining the ligament that supports your arch. Repeated strain can cause tiny tears in the ligament. These can lead to pain and swelling. This is more likely to happen if:

  • Your feet roll inward too much when you walk (excessive pronation).
  • You have high arches or flat feet.
  • You walk, stand, or run for long periods of time, especially on hard surfaces.
  • You are overweight.
  • You wear shoes that don't fit well or are worn out.
  • You have tight Achilles tendons or calf muscles.

What can you do about Plantar fascitis?
