Elevating the Quality of Life for All
Wow! 45 dedicated local residents served a total of 450 hours reviewing applications and deciding how to best invest donated dollars into key community initiatives and programs for the 2015-2016 budget year.

Community Investments Director, Donna Gehringer, shared a little bit about the process. "Decisions are driven by the vision that our children are ready for all life has to offer, our families are economically stable, and all residents are afforded the opportunities to live their healthiest lives," Gehringer stated.

Some of the newer programs that emerged for the upcoming year include an Eviction Diversion Pilot, Substance Abuse Prevention Pilot, Youth Initiatives, and Livingston Promise. The recently approved budget distributes 55 percent of investments in collaboratively-developed community initiatives.
