Campus Ministry invites you to give back this holiday season
On December 14th the King's community will be heading off to the St. Joseph Hospitality Centre to support those less fortunate. We serve baked goods and hot drinks, play music, cards and build community all the while providing a safe and warm place for a few hours on a Saturday night. If you can volunteer to join us for a couple of hours, or provide baked goods (homemade or store bought) or sandwiches please contact Annette in Campus Ministry.
Project Shoebox is a new initiative our community is engaging in this Christmas. You are invited to fill shoeboxes with socks, gloves, hats, toiletries and small personal items for those who are less fortunate. Please wrap these shoeboxes and indicate if they are intended for an adult male/female or child male/female. These boxes will be distributed to people at our December visit to St. Joseph's hospitality centre. Boxes can be brought to Campus Ministry in Wemple 139. Please have shoeboxes in by December 12th.

King's student athlete Lori Josephson discovers passions both on and off the field
King's student athlete Lori Josephson moved to London from her small community in Beaverton, Ontario, so she could play rugby while pursuing academic studies. Now, a fourth year student completing a double major in Sociology and Criminology, Josephson wholeheartedly believes that her role as a scrum on the Western Mustangs Rugby team gave her the chance to discover her passions in life, both on and off the field.

Full-time OSAP Student Income Update
All Full-Time OSAP students are required to re-confirm the income amounts reported on their OSAP application. Please do this no later than Dec. 6th, 2013 or you may experience a delay with the release of your January OSAP funding. OSAP has been/will be sending out information regarding this step as well, either through email or mail, depending on the correspondence option you chose.
To update your income online, log into the OSAP website, go to your 2013-2014 application, and click "Update Income." Review the income information, make the appropriate changes as necessary, and click "Submit".
Students needing to update Scholarship/Bursary/Award amounts on their OSAP application will need to come into the Student Financial Services at King's with their SIN card and valid Government Issued Photo I.D. as this category cannot be updated online. For those students who have received a King's Entrance or Continuing Scholarship and the $500 Enhancement, it is your responsibility to report the Scholarship portion only. King's will report the $500 Enhancement to the Ministry on your behalf. You will need to complete an "OSAP On-Line Change Form" to update this section. This form is available from Student Financial Services or the King's website under the OSAP section on "Money Matters".
If you have any questions please email Student Financial Services or call 519-433-3491 ext 4319.
