U.S. Tourists Most Frequent Users of India's Visa on Arrival

Tourists from the United States accounted for 33 percent of the users of India's Visa on Arrival program in March, followed by Germany, Russia, Australia, South Korea and Ukraine. The program saw a massive increase in the past year, as users numbered just under 2,000 in March 2014 but topped 28,000 in March 2015. The government has made the program available to 44 countries.
