We want to share with you about the amazing group of students at Heritage Elementary in Highlands Ranch, CO.
Their music teacher, Victoria Mata received approval to run a "Sock-it-to-Malawi" campaign this fall. In addition to learning about different African countries, and creating spectacular African art projects, these students collected spare change in socks to help students half a world away. All of the socks were collected at their winter concert on December 5. (The photo below shows just a portion of the socks that appeared that day!)
A few days later, Fingerprints Across Africa was presented with a check for over $2300!!!!
