SENIORS AND PARENTS: COLLEGE FINANCING
Both a parent and the student need to create a PIN number. I
t's recommended you do this NOW as it can take awhile to receive your number.
Then, remember to have your tax return ready to go as soon as possible so you can have accurate financial aid information when making your college choice.

DO YOU STILL OWE FOG SERVICE HOURS?
Students often work-off some of their family's FOG Service Hours (30 per family) over the summer. Nancy can be very flexible, allowing your student to work the days of the week and hours of the day that are the most convenient for you. Additionally, when it is time for your student to complete their first job application, she can serve as a reference. Just contact her by email at
nancywilliams@graceprep.com
or call the school office at 814-867-1177.

SEE THE DOCTOR OVER THE SUMMER
If your student will be seeing their doctor over the summer, please have them complete our

This is required for all new students, those entering their junior year and those participating in sports.
If you have any questions, email Nancy or call the school office at 814-867-1177.

LOSING YOUR HAIR OVER TEACHING YOUR STUDENT TO DRIVE?
Dave Jameson is offering a Driver Education Program for our Grace Prep students. Taking the Driver Education program is $35.00 an hour. If you take six lessons ($210) you will also receive a certificate stating you have completed six hours of in car training which should get you a discount of around 10% on your car insurance.
Dave is a certified driver education instructor. If interested just let Dave know and he can get you more information and put you on the schedule.
You will also spend at least one lesson at the DMV practicing parallel parking and the routes they take students on for their test. You will practice at least three times the exact test that will be given on test day. This creates no surprises and less anxiety on test day. Dave has a very high success rate of students who have passed on their first try. When the student passes the test they will get a junior license.
Please feel free to call Dave at 814-574-9193 or better yet e-mail him at doj11@scasd.org.

SPEND YOUR TUITION DOLLARS AT SHEETZ!
YAY! June is the month our SCRIP using parents have been waiting for. Many of them
are able to
skip their June tuition payment entirely
or at least pay a greatly reduced amount. It is easy to participate in the program, and some families have found that it helps with budgeting.
After signing up, you may access your account and pay for gift cards from your favorite grocery stores, gas stations, clothing stores, and restaurants. Then, when you visit these locations, you pay for your purchases with your gift cards. Each gift card purchase saves you tuition money.
Jean Barczak, Jake Stormer's grandmother, is the new SCRIP coordinator. She used to coordinate the Nittany Christian School SCRIP program, so the transition has been smooth. Orders will now be due on the first and third Mondays of each month. Cards will be ready for pick up on Fridays of the same week. Jean is a user of the SCRIP program and an advocate of the Presto Pay option. In some cases you can be at the store, have a mental note of what your spending, use your smart phone to add that amount, check out and earn money towards your tuition. She is willing to sit down with anyone that needs help getting started or taking the next step to Presto Pay. Contact her at 814-238-6382
or jas10@psu.edu.
