Make your voice heard! The Election committee is accepting nominations to stand for election to the board of Directors.  Seven members will be elected to serve a two-year term of office. Driving Economic Force: The Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba saw an estimated 102,000 visits over the course of the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair. Over 700 pounds of food was collected for Samaritan House during the kickoff breakfast.  See how Willie of the Brandon Wheat Kings dealt with aftermath in this video.

 

New Office: Andrew Agencies has 18 offices in rural Manitoba and southeastern Saskatchewan, including the newest office on the corner of 26th and Victoria Avenue here in Brandon.

 

Federal Funding: Brandon-Souris Constituency announced that Prairie Oasis Senior Centre/Brandon Civic Senior Citizens will receive $25,000 that will go towards facility upgrades through funding to help seniors make a difference in the lives of others and in their communities.

 

Email Warning: The "Crypto Wall 3.0" virus has infected several Brandon businesses. Pivotal Elements says it is spread through seemingly legitimate email attachments in a zip file. If opened, the virus encrypts your files and asks for a ransom. It is recommended to be wary of attachments and to use off-site backup storage.
