TASK Volunteers

The Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) is a private, non-sectarian, charitable organization that depends almost entirely on the help of dedicated volunteers and generous financial support from individuals, churches, local businesses and community organizations.

TASK provides more than 3,000 free meals per week to people in need in the Trenton area. They direct their activities toward helping patrons achieve healthier lifestyles, increased self-esteem, and self-sufficiency. To this end, TASK and agencies using our facility provide a wide array of social, community, and health services.

Please give generously to Mission this month and your gifts will support the important work of the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.

Youth Group Heads to Wildwood
The UPC Youth Group will take part in "A Closer Walk," a three-day retreat held at Morey's Pier in Wildwood.  Over 20 will be participating in the program which includes great contemporary Christian music, inspiring speakers, as well as time to enjoy the boardwalk, rides, and beach.  Dan Mucha and Megan Gadsby, our Youth Group Leaders, would like to thank the Men's Fellowship for their support of the trip, which many of our graduates have called life-changing.  We ask for your prayers that each person going to Wildwood indeed takes "A Closer Walk" with God.

Sincerely,
Jean Pinto
