Mass Farm Bureau Federation President,

Rich Bonanno for a discussion on the

Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA)
Information Session

Wednesday, September 25th, 6pm - 8pm
Southworth Library, 732 Dartmouth St., Dartmouth, MA

Farmers' Market goodies The FDA is accepting comments on its proposed regulations of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) until November 15th. If you're a farmer, a processor, or want to remain an informed consumer, please attend our information session, led by Mass Farm Bureau Federation President, Rich Bonanno. The session will cover the proposed regulations under the Produce Rule and the Preventive Controls Rule.

SEMAP encourages our region's farmers, processors, and eaters to learn about the issues surrounding each rule, and to comment thoughtfully.
Please attend this session or contact us with any questions if you are unable to attend but would like to learn more and submit a comment.

This event is free and open to all. Please RSVP online by clicking here.

Visit the MFBF site for tips on commenting, and the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition's FSMA website for an excellent overview of the issues.
