Porsche 997 Paddleshift kit
The benefits of the K-M-P paddleshift system are significant. The driver can completely focus on driving and doesn�t need to worry about the clutch and gearlever. Drivers� hands can stay on the steering wheel and clutch shifting during the race is no longer needed, due to the clutch-less shift system. The ''heel and toe'' is redundant with the integrated auto-blip function. Another major advantage is the constant quality of shifting. Therefore the K-M-P Paddleshift system is used in many 24hr racing cars.
K-M-P has developed a 'plug and play' Porsche Paddleshift kit. All the
components are designed to fit directly into a Porsche 996/997 racing car. It is not needed to design brackets, to solder cables or to do any kind of engineering. The wiring harness can be connected straight into the existing Porsche harness.
