Semi-Soft Cheese
Butterkase 
The term "semi-soft" is used to describe cheeses with a smooth, creamy interior with little or no rind.These cheeses are generally high in moisture content and range from very mild in flavor to very pungent.
 
Butterkase cheese is a semi-soft cheese with a golden natural rind. It's name literally means butter cheese, but the cheese is butter free. However, the appealing flavor and appearance makes it a great hit on the cheese board. Butterkase can be sliced, spread or melted and is great with a cold beer.
 
  
Rosemary Grilled Shrimp
From The Spice Lab
Ingredients
  • Hot Himalayan Salt Plate
  • 6 Shrimp per person (peeled and cleaned, leaving the tail on)
  • Butter Olive Oil (available at Vita Sana)
  • Fresh chopped garlic
  • Long rosemary sprigs
  • Fresh ground pepper 

Directions

  1. Preheat the Himalayan salt plate. Lightly coat salt plate with olive oil.
  2. Strip away the leaves on the lower part of each rosemary sprig, skewer the shrimp. 
  3. Lay the shrimp on the hot plate and immediately sprinkle generously with chopped garlic and pepper.
  4. The shrimp will cook quickly so turn then after 2-3 minutes. After turning sprinkle the other side of shrimp.
  5. When bright pinkish-orange, they are ready to serve. Place on a bed of greens or serve with a warm pasta.
