Illinois Insurance Marketplace Town Hall and Information
|
The event also had several Navigators from a wide variety of local organization to assist with signing up for new insurance and to answer questions. If you would like information on the Navigators who attended this event and are available to assist you with signing up for insurance on the Illinois Marketplace, please click on this link for a list of the agencies who attended the Town Hall. Feel free to contact the listed organizations with any questions you have regarding coverage under the ACA. They are there to assist you with any issues you may have.
We know that the process can be confusing and we are here to assist you in any way we can. Currently there are over 500,000 Illinoisans who are without insurance coverage. If you enroll before December 15th you will have coverage on January 1st.
For more information, including the handouts from the event, please visit www.repcassidy.com/ACAtownhall
Please don't hesitate to contact my office at 773-784-2002 if we can answer any questions or suggest an organization that will assist you in this process.

Anti-Bullying Event
|
Not a week goes by without speaking to a parent whose child is facing bullying problems at school, often with little assistance from the school's administration.
As I continue to work on legislation to improve the response of school districts, we continue to work with organizations to raise awareness and encourage appropriate responses to the problem. Please join me at this event in our community later this month.
