What Can the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence Do For You and Your Organization?

In a recent interview with
KFIZ Radio AM 1450,
Dr. JoAnn Sternke, Superintendent of Pewaukee School District, shared her insight into the value of forming a relationship with WCPE.  That relationship helped guide Pewaukee School District to the pinnacle of performance excellence, as one of only three recipients of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for 2013.  Pewaukee had previously attained the excellence level of Wisconsin Forward Award recognition in 2010.

Whether you align with WCPE by becoming a member and attending learning events, or by applying for the Wisconsin Forward Award,
Dr. Sternke noted several benefits:

  • Improve your processes and get better results, to help your organization "go from good to great" in a systematic way.
  • Adopt the Baldrige framework, which pertains to organizations of all types - education, health care, business, government, non-profit, etc.
  • Get inexpensive consulting from trained process improvement professionals
  • Use funding more wisely.  By streamlining your support processes, you will be able to devote more of your budget to advancing your organization's mission.
  • Gain understanding of the needs, wants, and expectations of your customer base.

These are just a few of the many ways that aligning yourself with WCPE can improve your organization.
