Be an Early Bird!
Don't let your girl or Girl Scout troop miss out on a minute of fun and friendship next year! Renew your membership now during our Early Bird Re-Registration Campaign! Benefits for Early Bird troops that register by June 1 include:
- Early Bird patch for each girl
- $10 Early Bird Bills Gift Card for each troop that registers at least 3 girls and 2 adults
- Opportunity to purchase our special Early Bird t-shirt for only $7 per shirt
- Start troop meetings in the fall without the worry of tracking down registration forms
- Guaranteed upload into NUTe and SNAP for easier product program administration
Re-registration packets and t-shirt order forms were distributed at service unit meetings in February and March. You can also re-register online at girlscoutsmoheartland.org/rose. Early Bird Registrations and t-shirt order forms must be received with payment by GSMH on or before June 1 to qualify.

Shops and Service Center Closing
As a reminder, all retail shops and service centers will be closing at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 22 and closed all day Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day.

The P.A.W.S. Project: Pets Are Worth Supporting!
Thanks to all Girl Scouts who helped the animal shelter of their choice by participating in the 2015 GSMH Council-Wide Service Project!
If you participated last year, you will receive a paw patch with the year to go with the patch you received last year.

Girl Scout Day at White Water
On August 1, join us for a day of fun in the sun at Girl Scout Day at White Water in Branson! The area's largest outdoor water park will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will have special activities for Girl Scouts.
Tickets for girls age 4-11 are $28.64; tickets for adults and girls over 12 years old are $40.64. Ticket price includes a meal! Order your tickets by July 31 from White Water at 1-800-417-7770.

Girl Scout Day at Silver Dollar City
Silver Dollar City is offering a second special day for Girl Scouts! Visit on September 26 for the National Harvest and Cowboy Festival. Girls can participate in activities designed just for Girl Scouts and receive a participation patch! Ticket prices are $47 for adults and girls 12 and above, and $43 for girls age 4-11.
This year, troops or families will register with the council. This will enable girls to use Cookie Credit and/or Troop Bucks to pay for their registration fees. However, financial assistance will not be available. To register, you can use a standard event registration form or register online. Registration deadline is September 14.

SHOP WITH US!
Shops in Springfield, Jefferson City, Cape Girardeau, and Dexter will be open Saturday, May 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It's Award Season! Bring in your list and shop for all your badges from Daisy through Ambassador. We also have fun patches and gifts for your end of year parties and celebrations.
Traveling Shop
The Joplin shop will be closed Saturday, May 2. We will be traveling to Columbus, KS for their Outdoor Skills Extravaganza. For those attending the event, the shop will be open in the Scout House from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. We will be bringing select merchandise. If you would like us to bring a special order for you, please call ahead (at least two days in advance) and we will be happy to bring it with us to the event.

Girl Scout Troop 70363 Participates in P.A.W.S.
Girl Scout Brownie Troop 70363
participated in the 2015 Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland Council-Wide Service Project: The P.A.W.S Project: Pets Are Worth Supporting. The Brownies chose to support Dr. Mindy's All God's Creatures animal shelter in Columbus by collecting dog or cat food, paper towels, and newspapers. Each girl who participated will receive a P.A.W.S. patch!
