Did You Know 

Members of the Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce take great pride in being involved in the community.  Chamber Ambassadors attend Ribbon Cutting Celebrations and help spread the word about the offerings of new businesses.  LeadershipOBX class members restored and painted a fence at the Chicamacomico Lifesaving Station this week.  Outer Banks Chamber Young Professionals participate in Beach Clean-Up throughout the summer. The Governmental Affairs Committee monitors local issues and shares information as needed.

 Conflict Resolution Session Wednesday

 

The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce, College of the Ablemarle's Small Business Center, and SCORE Outer Banks Chapter are pleased to present a Conflict Resolution seminar, 1-4:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the Ramada Plaza, Kill Devil Hills. 

 

Attendees at the session will explore:

*How to be effective in the presence of conflict with clear ways to make fast decisions in difficult situations.
*Experience conflict as the doorway to enhanced relationships & productivity
*Implement a practical perspective on handling conflict, resulting in a win-win solution

Presenter for the course is Martin Brossman. Martin has a passion for helping small businesses micro businesses, associations and other organizations, work smarter, utilize the resources of the Internet, and integrate their online marketing efforts with their traditional marketing. Social Media is a big part of that.

Cost to Attend Is $25 Chamber members, $35 non-members
