The Director Mentor Program is funded by the California Early Childhood Mentor Program. The Program selects experienced Directors and provides stipends for them to mentor new Directors or Directors facing new challenges. Mentoring may take place in face-to-face meetings, on the phone, via email, or some combination of all of the above. Director Mentors also participate in face-to-face and web-based training and professional development activities with colleagues throughout California.
