INGREDIENTS

1 medium ripe avocado

1/2 cup dates

2 1/2 tablespoons raw cocoa powder

1/8 teaspoon sea salt

Place all ingredients into a blender and pulse. Gradually increase speed until you are getting a creamy pudding-like consistency. You may need to add a tiny bit of extra water to facilitate blending. Only add TINY bits at a time. Avoid adding too much water so as not to change the consistency.

Caviar & Roses Facial

Back by popular demand, this luxurious anti-aging treatment is a time-tested favorite.
In February try the Moroccan Rose facial, which incorporates the skin rejuvenating and relaxing properties of authentic rose & patchouli oils.
This luxurious facial includes Kerstin Florian's premier Caviar Line, which incorporates real caviar extract for its firming properties and Damascena Rose for its healing and uplifting effects.
Bonus: Also included in this pampering face treatment is a special lip plumping treatment for the fine lines around the mouth. Active peptides and rich emollients will soften lips making them their most kissable. (See savings below)
Why We Love Chocolate
chocolate hearts
Although it seems too good to be true, dark chocolate can actually be good for you!
When consumed in moderation, this delicious treat has some powerful health benefits. Following are three of the major reasons to indulge:
1. It can help prevent heart disease: Like tea, dark chocolate contains flavenoids, which are compounds that act as antioxidants. Flavenoids protect cells from harmful molecules-called free radicals-that are produced when the body breaks down food or is exposed to sunlight or smoke. Free radicals can cause cell damage that leads to heart disease. Flavenoids can also lower blood pressure and reduce LDL cholesterol (i.e., the bad cholesterol) by up to 10 percent.

2. It can improve your mood: Dark chocolate stimulates the production of endorphins, chemicals in the brain that bring on feelings of pleasure. It also contains the chemical serotonin, which acts as an anti-depressant.

3. It can protect your skin: German researchers found that the flavenoids in dark chocolate absorb UV light, help protect and increase blood flow to the skin, and improve skin's hydration and complexion.
