Worship this week - December 15th
|
Dr. McIvor's sermon is "What Would Jesus Do?" based on Matthew 11.2-11. The Gospels tell the story of Jesus based on the conviction that he is God's Son and is to be acknowledged as Lord and Savior. The underlying story in the Gospels is how the early followers struggled to understand all this. Even as notable a person as John the Baptizer was confused. Of course, we are confused at times too. As it was for John, so it is for us: to understand Jesus means understanding what he came to do. We'll try to sort it out.

Attention Parents!
It's time to prepare for the Christmas Pageant
The education team would like to remind all parents of elementary age children that the Christmas pageant will be during the 5:00pm service on Christmas Eve. Any children who want to participate (we need sheep, angles, and wise men!) should let their Sunday school teachers know this week and be ready to attend a "dress rehearsal" on Sunday December 22nd from 5:00-6:00pm.
