Please join the Working Lands Alliance for our Annual Meeting and Luncheon, which will be held on
Wednesday, November 13th from 12 pm to 2 pm in the Old Judiciary Room at the State Capitol in Hartford.
This year's theme will be "
Celebrating 35 Years of Farmland Preservation in Connecticut", in honor of the 35th anniversary of CT's Farmland Preservation Program. This program was created in 1978 and was one of the first programs of its kind in the country.
Enjoy CT-grown fare and help us honor the legislators, individuals and organizations who have been instrumental in farmland preservation efforts this year. In addition to our Farmland Preservation Pathfinder awards (awardees to be announced), we will also be honoring Joseph Dippel of the CT Department of Agriculture with a Special Recognition Award for his outstanding and longtime service to Connecticut's Farmland Preservation Program.
