At times, we bug someone until they give in, but God does not give this way. He gives because that is who He is, loving and caring. However, in His wisdom, He also gives what we need, and often withholds what He knows will be bad for us. Not because He wants to be mean, but again, because of His love for us. Our all-knowing God gives what we don't know or think to ask for-what we can't even imagine. God gave us the Holy Spirit-the Spirit of truth-to be with us forever, just as Jesus promised.

We desire to show appreciation to all the teachers of the Urbandale School District by delivering homemade cookies baked by the Kitchen Ministry. Dr. Stillwell, Superintendent of the Urbandale Schools, gave us permission to deliver the cookie trays to all nine schools in the district on Monday, May 9.
