Your feedback and requests have been incorporated into this newsletter. Two new features debut this month: Ranked Athlete Spotlight and Meet Results in Rankings. 

An athlete whose rankings accomplishments are noteworthy will be featured in the Ranked Athlete Spotlight. Noteworthy can be multiple high rankings in their WMA region and therefore in contention for the annual Best Ranked Awards, a great improvement in their rankings or remarkable rankings considering they had to overcome adversity. Please contact me if you want to be featured in a newsletter.

The Meet Results in Rankings will have the highlights of the complete meet results that have been inserted during the month. The results from the Czech Republic, Australian, Canadian and US Championships listed below were sent to me to process which shows some of the worldwide collaboration which is happening!

Ranked Athlete Spotlight
Todd Davey, Australia
We all know aches and pains but Todd's were debilitating enough that he was giving up the sport he loves. His throwing passion compelled him to find a solution and persevere through the pain to train. Todd's results (see results) show the effects of competing with injuries and his path to dealing with injuries and excelling in athletics. His rankings should put him in contention for the Best Ranked Oceania Award.

This site keeps growing and improving.  I hope 2013 and 2014 are complete this year and rankings lists are up to date through this year and beyond. The vast majority of you have told me that having an up-to-date list is so important to you.  This will happen with your help and support.

Coming Next Month
  • The rankings home page will have a sampling of the most recent submissions. The list will change as new submissions are made so you can see an ever changing snapshot of performances. This list will include links to see the remaining performances from that meet that are listed in the rankings.
  • World Regional Rankings Awards will be designed! A picture will be in the next newsletter.
  • Another Ranked Athlete Spotlight - I will select another athlete who has a noteworthy rankings story in a few weeks and always appreciate suggestions and help!
