How many facets of the ever-expanding Love that is ours to claim will you accept for yourself? What inward journeys will you take with Infinite Spirit? What dreams will you envision and then "see" coming true? Who and what will "Show up" for you and in what ways will you show up for others? Can you imagine a year of spiritual discovery like that? Together, let's dream big and live large in 2015! We hope you'll join Unity Worldwide Ministries, Unity Worldwide Headquarters at Unity Village, and Unity Center for Spiritual Growth, Athens in the grand adventure and deep insights available on our Journey of Spiritual Discovery!

"What Are You Planting?
The four concepts above are basic to Unity & New Thought belief systems. You may have heard them before; perhaps many times before. And while they may register completely & fully while we're taking a class, reading a book, or preparing for meditation, it seems we can forget them during the busy-ness and business of living. If we can remember that the thoughts we think are like seeds we plant in the garden of our lives, then perhaps we can be even more aware of the power of our thinking. What are we planting every day -- in our relationships, in our careers, in our creative life, in our conversations? That is what Rev. Bronte will talk about this Sunday, sharing through insight and example just how powerful our thoughts are. And we hope you'll give some thought to joining us this Sunday -- we'd love to see the brilliance that is you.

Sundays, 9:40 to 10:25 AM.
Morning Quietude meets in the Lobby area (through the double glass doors in the
middle of the building). Led by Rev. Bronte, this is a time for quiet contemplation, soft music, and centering. Whether you join us as a pre-service preparation time, a stand-alone "church service," or as a preface to your other Sunday plans, we welcome all. If you arrive after 9:40, that's fine, just please turn off phone, etc., and quietly join the circle. Donations are appreciated. Reiki practitioners are often available to freely give healing touch and energy.
The Unity Athens "Unexpected Income Program" has been a great success! Thanks to all who joined in.

YES! Upcoming DEEKSHA "Oneness Blessing" at UNITY ATHENS will be April 26 at 3:30.
Experience the "Oneness Blessings" regularly held at Unity Athens. Blessing Givers from Athens & Atlanta are hoping you will be able to experience the next Oneness Blessing Circle, held on Sunday, April 26 from 3:30 to about 5:00 and led by Mark Buhrke. This is given on a "Love offering" basis with donations going toward the Unity Athens Expansion Fund.
Also known as Deeksha, the Oneness Blessing is "the transfer of intelligent sacred energy, Divine Grace, which causes the heart to flower, heals relationships, quiets the constant chatter of the mind, opens the door to higher states of awareness, and initiates a process of permanent awakening into Oneness where there is no longer a sense of separation and personal suffering. What remains is causeless love, joy and peace in the present moment." First-time blessing receivers report a powerful sense of being graced with Spirit's presence; those who've received the blessing before report ever-deepening levels of awareness.
You will be able to learn more about this blessing, which is growing in global awareness, and at the circle this sacred energy is transferred through the Blessing Givers to the recipients. by Genevieve Behrend (1881 - 1960). Group started Wed., April 8, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
It continues on Wednesdays at the west side home of one of our members. This is a follow-up book to the one we just completed, YOUR INVISIBLE POWER, by the same author.
This slim but deep work by Ms. Behrend shares much of the wisdom she gleaned from her studies under Judge Thomas Troward, a very influential New Thought pioneer, in her time with him as his personal student. Filled with conversations between "Sage" and "Pupil," the intricacies of these spiritual ideas makes for wonderful discussions in our Wednesday evening book study. There is also much practical advice for achieving exactly what the title suggests: attaining your desires.The book is available free in the

listed by author. A limited amount of copies will be available for sale in the Unity Athens bookstore and in class for $6. That version is also for sale on Amazon

We are reading and discussing the classic Unity book, LESSONS IN TRUTH by H. Emilie Cady. Often called the "standard textbook of Unity," this intriguing work offers rich insights into our divine nature and connection as well as practical information on living a life of "truth." If you are interested, please register via email at [email protected] or sign up on at Unity Athens on Sundays. You will then receive more information on location and other details. You do not have to commit to attending every Tuesday, but we do ask you to read the assigned chapters and be prepared for discussions. If purchasing the book, we suggest you get the COMPLETE WORKS OF H. EMILIE CADY, although other editions will work fine. The Amazon link is here. Taught by the highly experienced and insightful facilitator, Drew Smith, this popular class dives deeply into A Course, while making the text even more understandable and relevant to daily life. Open to all. If you don't own the book, there's always someone willing to share. Because of the ongoing nature of this class, feel free to stop in as you can, or to participate every Sunday. Join us on the second Sunday of each month around the big-screen TV for a casual atmosphere of spiritual films and DVDs plus interesting discussions for those that chose to stay for a bit after. Feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages. CommUnity Movie cost is $5.

We welcomed four new members recently. Consider making a deeper connection and becoming a member of our Unity Athens Family.
To achieve membership, there are several requirements: attendance at a New Member class, taught by Rev. Bronte, and all new members are asked to view the DVD, "What is New Thought?," which explores the history and philosophy of the New Thought movement, including Unity. We will have showings of this important documentary around the time of New Member classes, or you can purchase it online to watch. If you are transferring an active membership from another Unity church, it may be possible to waive one or both requirements. It is also highly recommended that you attend one of our book study groups for a deeper insight into Unity principles and teachings. There is no fee to take the New Member class or to become a member. These classes are open to all and are a good way to lean more about the Unity movement and Unity Athens.
