Good News Update 81 30 OCtober 2013
|
Dear
Thomas Jefferson said, "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance". It would seem that Thomas Jefferson is right, because the battle to protect our children's rights from the encroachment of homosexual marriage never lets up Now the battle has moved from the ACT to NSW parliament and we need your help to make a stand for the truth through a specific strategy of prayer.
First some good news:
The second attempt to introduce homosexual marriage in Tasmania was defeated 8:6 in the Tasmania Legislative Assembly on Tuesday 29 October 2013.
Many people still do not understand what homosexual marriage will do if it is implemented. Even the pro-homosexual marriage British Prime Minister, David Cameron, has conceded that it has been a political error to have forced the contentious legislation through parliament. One cabinet minister, commenting on the subject said, "It is true he wishes he had never done it. He has been saying this is the biggest mistake of his prime ministership because he totally underestimated the trouble it would cause."
This is just one reason that we must continue to expose the lies associated with the move to redefine marriage. Marriage is the bedrock institution for our nation.
Brian Camenker, from Mass Resistance, Massachusetts, USA, who saw his state legalise homosexual marriage in 2003, has put together a video, featured below. This clip explains the consequences of homosexual marriage.

The Consequences of Homosexual Marriage
We understand that the NSW Upper House parliamentarians have received several thousand letters and emails on this subject and are suffering from information overload. So for this juncture of the battle we ask you to do something special and unique, but not original - please PRAY! As S.D Gordon said, "The greatest thing anyone can do for God or man is pray".
-
Rev Fred Nile from the Christian Democratic Party has asked for those who can, to come and pray outside the NSW Parliament House, Macquarie Street, Sydney between 10AM & 3PM on Thursday 31 October 2013.
-
Please print off this list of 42 members of the Legislative Council where the homosexual marriage bill is being debated in NSW every Thursday sitting day over the next few weeks. Please present them daily before God, asking God to give them wisdom and bless them and their families according to I Timothy 1:1-2:
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
Each of these men and women in the parliament has families. Each of them is loved by God. Let us pray a blessing upon them for the duration of the homosexual marriage debate which will be held every sitting Thursday over the next few weeks. Let us pray for wisdom for each one of them and that God would bless them 'above all that they can ask or think'. Let us also continue to pray for wisdom for the seven High Court Judges who are currently looking at the constitutional validity of the ACT homosexual legislation.
As Alfred Tennyson said, "More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams of".
Together we can make a difference!
Yours for praying for our leaders
