We are 461 Days away from DS2016 and we just confirmed some great news!  The IBRBS is inviting everyone aboard the Showboat Branson Belle for a special "repeat" of a favorite night of the 2006 convention!  All attendees and Bransonities are welcome aboard this Thursday night cruise at Discover Santa 2016!

In previous newsletters I spoke of having different activities on each night of the convention.

And, one of the goals for the convention was to have a night for any national groups to host some sort of event/s. So Thursday Night, July 7 at the Convention has been set for the National groups, allowing IBRBS to charter the Branson Belle for all of us to enjoy!  

Over 500 Santas, Mrs. Claus and local Bransonites,boarded the Branson Belle at our first convention and we had a wonderful time. Total capacity for the 2016 cruise is only 700, so don't delay making your reservations for this extraordinary, exciting evening.

Now here is the great news!  I received word from Santa Bob Elkin, president of the IBRBS, (International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas) that their Board of Directors have voted to charter the Showboat Branson Belle.for the evening cruise, dinner and show and to invite everyone to participate in what will again be one of the highlights of the Discover Santa 2016 convention.

This special event will be an optional event that everyone attending the convention may attend.  As with our event in 2006, even a few guests from the community will be aboard so they can "Meet the Santas."  You do not need to be a member of IBRBS. Everyone is invited to join together on this special evening for a great night of food, live entertainment and fun! IBRBS also plans to give away complimentary tickets in random drawings from the list of all who have made reservations for the Branson Belle Cruise, dinner and show.

"Queen of the Ozarks"

The Showboat Branson Belle was launched from her lake side shipyard August 13, 1994, using two tons of bananas as a lubricant for the nine second slide into the water. She traveled 14 mph during the launch, faster than she'll ever travel on water.

For your pleasure, samples are available daily.

McAdoo's Boatworks is a treasure trove of souvenirs with items ranging from logo t-shirts and jackets to collectible spoons, bells, mugs and pens. McAdoo's also features a wide assortment of patriotic and nautical items along with children's t-shirts, pirate ships and stuffed animals.

CONVENTION REGISTRATION

For those who have already registered, you can call Taunya and add the Showboat Branson Belle to your registration package.   And if you arenew to registering for the convention, just check the box on the registration form to add the Branson Belle.

Everyone knows how nice it is to work with Taunya Lay of Branson Ticket & Travel (BT&T).  I am so glad that she is again on board with us for this convention.  I know everyone who worked with her at the original Discover Santa Convention had high praise for her work and how she assisted all of us.   

All reservations and registration must be done through Taunya at Branson Ticket and Travel (BT&T) To start just go on-line at www.DS2016.com   If I you have something that cannot be done on line, feel free to call Taunya at (800) 432-4202.  But fill-out and submit your registration form first!

Once you have filled out your form, Taunya will work with you on your request.   If you are not sure of what you need, just make some selections to start with.  You can make changes later, there is no obligation, and it will get your registration started.
