If the rain holds off for this morning, installation of the brick pavers should be completed today (November 22nd) at the south end of the Riverside Drive Promenade allowing access for bicycle and pedestrian traffic through the project site to Festival Park. A construction project just to the north of this area still requires the path along the Fox River to be closed between Highland Avenue and Chicago Street. This project should be completed within the next week to week or so. Once the brickwork is completed, vehicle traffic will be allowed to flow in both directions for the full length of the project site. Please use caution while driving through the site, as there will still be workers present. The speed limit for this roadway has been set at 15 MPH.
