Well, we're getting to the last full month of the school year.  May means field trips and fun, prom and AP testing, kickball at recess and practice for field day.  As summer reaches towards us, we know there is still work to be done - for teachers and students.  There will one last staff development day on May 22 when retirements are celebrated and plans are made for next year.  We'll be keeping you up to date through June, so keep an eye out for us.

Greenhouse Opening for the Season

The CLHS greenhouse will be opening on May 7th. Not sure what mom needs for her garden? Pick up a greenhouse gift certificate. The greenhouse will be open on weekdays from 7:15 to 3:15 (or later by appointment) and Saturdays in May and June from 8:00 to 2:00.

You can check out the greenhouse during parent-teacher conferences on May 7th until 7:00 p.m.

Potting nights will be held on May 12th and 14th from 6:30 to 8:00. Plants will be 25% off during these free sessions - you pay for the plants and soil. Bring your own pots, or pots are available for purchase at wholesale prices. Come out and get a jumpstart on your spring planting! If you need further information: email.
