This is a follow up on our email from last Friday regarding the closure of your current card with us.

We have not been sitting still! Besides taking care of our customers we have been working around the clock with new issuing banks to get a new card program in place.

We are making very good process. But as much as we would want to simply 'flip a switch' and start issuing new cards, a new integration will take some time unfortunately. It is too early into the process to give you a firm ETA.

We do want to let you know that the new card will be better and more affordable.

While the process with a new partner is ongoing, we are also in constant communication with Nxpay. They have indicated that they might have a replacement card (also US issued) but have not been able to provide more specifics. Once there is any news on this we will be communicating this.

Below we have listed some FAQ's regarding this situation that will help answer most of your questions:

Q Why will my card be closed?
A The cards were closed by the issuing bank Four Oaks because of their difficulty complying with certain KYC (know your customer) regulations.

Q When will the card be closed?
A The cards will close on May 8th

Q I still have a balance, what will happen to it?
A If you leave a balance it will be transferred to a new card when issued. If you rather not leave it you can transfer funds out by going here.

Q I still have a pending card load payment, what happens to it?
A We will not be able to load that payment to your current card unfortunately. It will either clear to a new card or we can send you a refund.

Q When will you issue my new card?
A We are unable to give you a time frame at the moment. Once we have this information we will communicate it immediately.

Q Is US Unlocked going to continue in business?
A Yes, absolutely! We are about to launch our new website and we have many exciting new things coming to you, for example a cash back rewards mall (more news to follow).

Tomorrow will be the last day your current card is active. We will be updating your account with a link to this news letter. We will also follow up with you again next week regarding any new information.

Please be ensured that we can't wait to start issuing your new card and we are doing everything we can to make this happen.
