"MEN ON FILM: How Media Depictions of Black MSM Impact HIV Infection Rates" will be the topic of a community forum to be presented by the Los Angeles Centers for Alcohol and Drug Abuse. A panel discussion will explore the role film, television, rap music and other forms of popular media play in the construction and maintenance of social and cultural attitudes toward Black MSM, and how those attitudes may influence behaviors that can lead to HIV infection.
