Value Stream Mapping + A3 Workshop

21-23 April, Intralox LLC, Savage MD

Two of the most popular and useful methods of Lean Thinking come together for this three-day, hands-on workshop, combining Value Stream Mapping and A3 Thinking.

Value Stream Mapping is a graphical technique for mapping the current state and the targeted future state of any process.  With a VSM, you can find waste and flow disruptions more easily, develop solid improvement plans, and communicate those plans more clearly.  This two-day event will teach you hands-on skills you can use for any type of process.

The A3 Report is a tool for getting the problem, analysis, and corrective action plan written clearly and simply on a single sheet of paper.  A3s describe the stepwise logic from problems to solutions, making thinking visible, and providing a simple way to coach and develop problem-solving thinking.  This one-day event will introduce you to A3s and bring you through classroom and real-world application.

Value Stream Maps and A3's together form a powerful "one-two punch" for well-designed process improvements!
