Dear World Affairs Councils of America Leaders and Members,

I am writing to inform you that during the transition period at the WACA National Office over the next several weeks of summer, Dr. Lori E. Murray has agreed to serve as a consultant to the World Affairs Councils of America and will be managing the National Office.  

Our search process for a new President & CEO is already underway and you will be receiving more specific information on that process imminently.

I am also pleased to inform you that at our recent WACA National Board meeting, the National Board unanimously designated Lori Murray as President Emeritus, an honorific title in recognition of her unique contributions to the World Affairs Councils of America. We are very grateful and appreciative of the strategic direction, energy and commitment that Lori has given to our National Network and our efforts to revitalize the National Office.
