Volcano Trio
Viscose elastane knit

This exquisite digitally printed knit is a triumph of style and sophistication.  Available in three colorways, the print is suggestive of geologic  activity with large rimmed neutrals surrounded by eruptions of deeper tones and accents of geometric angles.  The soft viscose/elastane knit is our customer favorite imported from France.  These all over prints are perfect for dresses , tunics or tops.

Orange:  Soft orange, bright berry, toffee, mud, burnished gold, dusty mauve, blush, black forest.

Mauve:   Dusty amethyst, olive, ashes of roses, ivory, soft white and black forest.

Shrimp:  Shrimp, rose madder, olive drab, olive, pine, ivory, soft white, bright berry.

Parrot Isle
digitally printed jersey knit
This happy print will perk up any day of the week!  Whimsical characterizations of rainforest flora are colored in turquoise, teal, red/orange, apple green, teal, acid green, acid yellow with accents in navy, black and white.  This digitally printed jersey knit is just right for dresses, tunics or tops. Viscose/elastane from France
Back to the Future
Poly spandex jersey
Melissa Masse

The designer's choice of fabric is clearly based on print design combined with a luxury feel to a practical fabrication. The rectangular motifs are shown as box-in-a-box groupings with a blend of color that is unusual and breathtaking when seen in the full piece. It is difficult to choose a dominant color. If you are looking for coordinates, we suggest you begin with black and then try burgundy or herbal green. Colors include herbal green, burgundy, wood violet, tawny apricot, lime green, black, ice blue, dove gray, hot pink, cobalt and mint green

Striped poly rayon knit

We've found several striped sweater knits from a West Coast manufacturer that will be great for fall layering. The poly/rayon blend is lightweight for a single layer and can be teamed with other knits for a cardi set or worn under a jacket comfortably. Mulberry, black, soft blue teal and bronze alternate with charcoal gray 3/8 in stripes.
Ashland
Rayon jersey

This rayon/spandex jersey knit is a great weight for 3 season tops, tees, tunics or turtles. The rich charcoal heather coloration will coordinate well with brights or pastels. Join the charcoal gray trend with this all around basic.
The Quiet One
Viscose jersey knit

The opposite of extrovert? This quiet print makes a wonderful and mysterious statement with its quiet gray heather and toned down plum purple on a black ground. Printed on our viscose/elastane jersey knit from France, this abstract print suggests scattered blossoms but could also be interpreted as splotches of interesting color and nothing more. We all see a stunning dress in a classic wrap or contemporary ruched bodice on a straight skirt.

Sweater knit

Don't you just love navy and gray? We do and jumped at the chance for this poly/rayon sweater knit. This is a good layering weight for fall either over a lightweight jersey or under a jacket, this will work to give you a bit of warmth and a lot of style. 1 in. stripes in classic navy and mid-toned heather gray

Textured wool suiting

If you love wool, this navy texture will satisfy your yearning. Slightly pebbled weave gives the fabrication some depth and the wool/Lycra content offers stability and comfort. Great choice for suits and separates for three-season wear
Ambassador
Classic wool/silk tweed suiting

Now this is a classic Sawyer Brook fabric. The wool/silk blend of gray/green and navy is presented in a novelty weave that serves as a very subtle check. Team it with sage green (See our Sage Twill ) or classic navy for suits or separates.

3-Season Jacket Sew Along!

Maryjo is leading this great sew along for a very versatile jacket.

Jenny has started the sew along by making a new fabric, combining strips of  Marco in Navy and Cream.
Jenny-new fabric
I made the new "fabric" by cutting my two colors into 4" stripes and seaming them together.
Others are preparing their pattern and working on muslins.  It's not too late to join in.
