Triduum greetings and blessings to you.  Spring is finally in the air! First, a profound "THANK YOU!" to everyone for all your prayers for me during my surgery and hospitalization over the last several weeks. I felt the love and concern of so many of my brothers and sisters in Christ during this difficult time. I have now begun to resume my duties as Director of Parish Coordination. Nelly and I can't begin to say how much we appreciate you.

I pray you all have experienced a meaningful Lent as we celebrate the Resurrection of Our Lord and Savior this Sunday. On Good Friday, we hope you and your fellow parishioners can join us for the Pro-Life Stations of the Cross -- a truly powerful prayer event, joining our sufferings and the sufferings of aborted babies to those of Christ.  Father Ambrose Strong, O.Cist. will lead the Pro-Life Stations of the Cross, Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet in English from noon to 1 p.m. outside the Southwestern abortion facility, 8616 Greenville Ave, Dallas (parking information here).  A parallel prayer event in Spanish will be held outside the Planned Parenthood abortion facility, 7989 West Virginia Dr, Dallas (parking information here).  It is an incredibly powerful way to honor Christ's sacrifice so that all may have LIFE!

And just a few weeks away, we will have another wonderful opportunity to honor and celebrate life at the annual Bishop's Pro-Life Dinner. We are so excited to welcome this year's featured guestsaward-winning singer Kathy Troccoliwho will share a musical performance, and Catholic Answers Live host Patrick Coffin, who will serve as emcee, and to honor this year's Father Edward Robinson, O.P., Pro-Life Persons of the Year: The Jonas and Tricia Roos Family.

By now, hopefully your parish has been promoting the Dinner and has purchased its table (or two or three). If your parish has not yet purchased its tables, be sure to make your reservations by 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 8 (extended deadline!) for the best price.  Reservations may be made online here or by calling 972-267-LIFE (5433).

Electronic copies of promotional items for the Dinner are linked below in addition to the posters and yard signs that have been delivered to your parish. If you need anything further, please email cplc@prolifedallas.org or call the number above.

Please also mark your calendars for the following events in March:

And be sure to save the date for the next Parish Pro-Life Coordinator Meeting on May 9 at Prince of Peace in Plano.  If you cannot attend, please designate a representative to attend in your place.

Finally, I'd like to thank all of you who helped promote, prayed for and participated in this year's Catholic Faith in Action Advocacy Day! Over 3,000 Catholics filled the state Capitol to advocate for life, justice, charity and religious freedom. It was an incredible day of unity with 13 Texas Bishops leading the way! Check out the pictures here.

As we prepare to celebrate Our Savior's Resurrection, may God's blessings be upon you as you live your Parish Pro-Life Coordinator commitment to saving God's precious babies, helping their mothers, and building a culture that respects all life, from conception to natural death!

Blessings,
