designLAb hosts five receptions per year with the generous support of Charles Cohen and the PDC. Approximately 10-15 galleries have open receptions during the evening. The competition, which is open to young artists between the ages of 5 and 21 years or age, will take place

The MOCA store hosts San Francisco's Honey Soundsystem to celebrate the record release of the unknown gay porn soundtracks by legendary 1980's San Francisco disco producer, Patrick Cowley that were never released outside of their use in the 1980's porn films of Los Angeles porn director Jon Colletti of Fox Studio. The museum extends its hours for guests to view Bob Mizer & Tom of Finland while Honey Soundsystem DJs provide an outdoor audio-visual program related to the unique cross section of Colletti's erotica and the late synthesizer wizard Patrick Cowley.
