2015 Earth Day is April 22!  What are you doing to be green?  Despite what Kermit the frog may say, we think IT'S EASY TO BE GREEN!
Westlake believes in waste recycling, water conservation, and native landscaping! Have you visited our Water Conservation page on the Town's website? Be green and click here for links to websites with ideas about "smartscaping" and how to use water wisely! Another resource packed full of green ideas with tips about water conservation and landscaping can be found on the Lawn Whisperer's Facebook page

Several Town staff members are going green by attending an Earth Day Fair during lunch at the TD Auto Finance Caf?, as we partner together to bring more awareness and promote Westlake water conservation efforts. Our initiatives will be discussed at the event, such as the use of our new smart water meters, native landscaping efforts, and information about Westlake Adademy's green efforts. Also at the event, a representative from Republic Services will speak about recycling services.  Speaking of recycling, do you need more recycling bins? Just call us at 817- 430-0941.
And the celebration continues next Saturday, April 25, with Westlake Arbor Day!
