Slopeside Lit - a books + brews club 
The library hosts this fun book club the first Monday of the month. Please contact  [email protected] for details. March's book is The Sisters Brothers by Patrick deWitt. Monday, March 2nd at 6pm at the Aspen Brewing Company.
Nonfiction Book Club Being Mortal

Community Seed Distribution
Stop by the library to get free organic, non-GMO seeds distributed by Growing Food Forward. For more info, call GFF at 970-704-9535.  Saturday, March 14th from 3 to 5pm.
Literature Out Loud
"Marvelous Men"! Please note: Literature Out Loud well be held at Explore Booksellers (221 E. Main Street) this month! Sunday, March 15th at 3pm at Explore Booksellers.
French Chat - pitcolib.org/french-chat
Library staff member Nathalie, born & raised in Belgium, will moderate a one hour chat session for those who wish to practice their French. Meets every Monday at 12pm. No meeting March 2nd.
 
TEENS
College Bound Book Club
A book club designed for high school students on the college track. Books are selected based on the 2014 Young Adult Library Services Association's list of the best books for the college bound. March's book is The Signal and the Noise by Nate Silver
Sunday, March 8th at 10am.
High School Book of the Month Club
A reading club for High School aged students who just want to read for the fun of reading. There are no tests, just a lively discussion with refreshments & fun. March's book is We Were Liars by E. Lockhart.  Wednesday, March 11th at 3pm.
 
CHILDREN
Story Art
Hear fun stories and make great art. Held every first Monday of the month!
Monday, March 2nd at 10:30am.
 
Stories, Songs, and Supper
Bring your family and join us in reading, singing, learning, eating, and family fun! There will be limited space and food. For more info, call Raising A Reader at 970-230-9117.
Wednesday, March 11th from 5:30 to 6:45pm.

After School Wednesdays at the Library
Join us in the children's library for stories, games, and fun activities! Every Wednesday from 2:30 to 4:30pm.

 

Baby Storytime in Snowmass Village
Join us at the Snowmass Village Recreation Center (2835 Brush Creek Road) for a lapsit storytime for babies 0-24 months. Enjoy songs, rhymes, bounces, fingerplays, books and more! Every Wednesday at 9:30am.
