We're thrilled to announce The Hotel Phillips is once again the host of Hello Art's Anniversary Celebration. Join us for a night filled with exceptional art and performances inside the beautiful Hotel Phillips, as well as our signature First Friday trolley tour.
• Meet Ahram Park, the 2014 Hotel Phillips Artist in Residence and take a peek inside his studio. Photo (right), part of a series of works by Ahram Park, 2013.
• Enjoy performances by UMKC Conservatory dancers and musicians in the Crystal Ballroom.
• Enjoy piano performances by Mark Lowrey.
• Bid on one-of-a-kind artist experience packages in the silent auction (take a peek at two of the packages below).
• Take a trolley tour to local studios and galleries.
• Enjoy hors d'oeuvres and wine compliments of the Hotel Phillips and Trinchero Family Estates, as well as Sugar Island rum and tequila cocktails.
• Living sculptures/costuming by KCAI Seniors Emily Kenyon and Hannah Carr.
• Projection mapping room featuring KCAI duo Sam Navarro and Drew Linne.
• After party fundraiser (separate tickets required): Journey down below the Hotel Phillips from 9 p.m.-midnight for an unforgettable evening of art and revelry. Mark Southerland presents a night of creative music featuring Annie Ellicott, horn sculpture duets, and other surprises. Purchase tickets here.
The first trolley will depart from the hotel at 6:15 p.m. and make multiple departures throughout the evening.
