The PGA of BC is excited to announce an exciting lineup of speakers for this year's Spring Education Seminar,  taking place February 15-16, 2016, at Tsawwassen Springs Golf Club.

Over 20 attendees have already registered for the first date of the 2016 Education Series, taking place at The Vancouver Golf Club on January 25. Act fast - registration closes January 20 at 4 PM.

Registration for members is $39.00 +GST. Non-members are welcome for $59.00 +GST and must be accompanied by a PGA of BC member. All members will receive 3 PDP points for attending.

JANUARY PGA OF BC BOARD ELECTIONS
Three positions on the PGA of BC's Board of Directors are available for election.

Individuals located in the Lower Mainland are particularly encouraged to apply to ensure proper regional representation on the Board. Candidates must be Class "A" Professionals and willing to serve on a two-year, non-renewable term.

Interested candidates are asked to submit a brief biography and description of no more than 250 words to reflect why they wish to run for a position on the PGA of BC Board. 
 
Candidates' data and answers will be made available to voting members online. To submit your name for consideration, simply send an email with your biography by 12:00pm on Tuesday, January 26th to Executive Director, Donald Miyazaki at donald@pgabc.org.
 
Once a list of candidates has been compiled, the membership will have the opportunity to vote in the online election for a period of one week. 
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT THE VANCOUVER GOLF & TRAVEL SHOW
The PGA of BC is seeking volunteers to assist at the Vancouver Golf & Travel Show, February 13-14, 2016.

Instructors are needed to assist in the PGA of BC Learning Centre.  This is a great opportunity for PGA Golf Professionals to Showcase their talents and services to the 7,000+ golf enthusiasts who attend the Show annually. 

Volunteer commitments start at only two hours per day and is a great way to earn valuable Professional Development Program (PDP) Points.  For more information and available time slots, please contact Donald Miyazaki, Executive Director at donald@pgabc.org
