Sisterhood Torah Fund Concert
Saturday, January 23

Prior to the Naomi Less band performance the Torah Fund Concert, Sisterhood will present the Horty T. Gendzier Woman of Achievement award to Lara Werwa for her many years of service to Center Sisterhood. In addition Sisterhood will present Edie Jordan with a Guardian Torah Pin for her years of service at the Center.

Tickets are $18 for an individual or $36 for a family and can be purchased online by visiting the Sisterhood Website HERE.

This Shabbat we celebrate Sydni Rudowitz, daughter of Michael & Marcy Rudowitz becoming a Bat Mitzvah!  
Sydni Rudowitz is a 7th Grader at the Bernard and Alice Selevan Religious School and  Fruit Cove Middle School. For her Bat Mitzvah project, Sydni,  worked with the National MS Society, where she volunteered at the North Florida MS Chapter and raised funds online in honor of her Grandma who was diagnosed with MS in 2011. The funds raised will support cutting-edge research and programs and services for everyone impacted by MS.  Sydni is an active member of Setzer Youth Education's Kadima youth group. In her free time, Sydni likes to hang out with her friends and is very creative and has a flare for design. She has a big family and loves to spend time with them.

Gan Shabbat; a family friendly service for preschool-aged children and their parents is held in the Levin Indoor Playroom in the DuBow Preschool at 11:00 AM  

Family Minyan;
a family friendly service for kindergarten through fifth graders and their families where they can experience Shabbat together, with a short and upbeat musical service, followed by a fun activity at 10:30 AM in the Joe and Sophie Witten Chapel.
  

Complimentary Shabbat Morning Babysitting is available for children ages 1 - 5 in the DuBow Preschool from  9:15 AM - 12:15 PM. 
Our Condolences: 
We are saddened by the passing of our member Judy Dushoff. We extend our condolences to her daughters Terri (Tim) Overman and Holly Jennings; her brother Jim (Becky) McIntosh; grandchildren Kevin, Kyle, David, Elena and Laura; and great-grandchild Elena.   
 
May the Holy One comfort the members of the Dushoff family among all the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

 Dov Waxman, professor of political science, international affairs and Israel studies at Northeastern University,  will discuss his new book Trouble in The Tribe: The American Jewish Conflict over Israel.
