Calling generations of all nations to the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ!

Fall Highlights

God has blessed us with non-stop ministry this Fall.  Following the Rwanda Mission in September, Mike was on the road of 8 of the last 12 weekends and lead MOS in Gresham each Monday night.  Here are the highlights of this time of ministry.
Quake Student Conference

Oct. 3, Simplicity Ministries ® , with Coulee Baptist Association, brought together 37 students and youth leaders from five churches for a day of worship and training in Simple Evangelism.

MOS (Men of Simplicity) Project

Oct. 10, Nov. 14, and Dec. 12, we also partnered with Coulee Baptist Association in two locations (Wenatchee and Moses Lake, WA) to gather an average of 36 men for discipleship and leadership development.
Simple Evangelism Training

On Oct. 18 and 25 at North Addison Baptist Church, more than 80 adults were equipped in Simple Evangelism. In addition, one adult community group is working through the 14 week follow-up study.
Revival Week

I preached a full week of revival services Nov. 1-8 with New Life Fellowship, a small congregation in Rifle, CO. There was an average attendance of 54 at each service, with 7 adults saved. Tuesday night, after a message on marriage and the mystery of the Gospel, 27 responded during the altar call to make a decision of renewal, personally and in their marriages. 12 others made decisions of renewal during the week.
Pulpit Supply

I had the privilege of preaching at FBC, Warden, WA and Evergreen Baptist in Cashmere, WA (Nov. 15 and Dec. 13). Each of these churches runs about 30 adults in Sunday morning worship. My time in the pulpit was to encourage these churches during this critical time of transition as they wait for God to send them a pastor. (Happy to report that FBC Warden now has a pastor!)
Baptizing My Son, Zach

One of the greatest joys of my life has been baptizing my kids. On December 6th, I had the great honor of baptizing my son, Zach! Zach responded in faith to Jesus Christ's invitation for salvation on June 4th. Throughout the summer and fall, Debbie and I spent time discipling him, culminating in his baptism. You can watch Zach share his testimony and see his baptism in a brief video at https://vimeo.com/148309916.
