Welcoming Our New Executive Director!

We are excited to be welcoming Neale Parker as the Executive Director of the Chromosome 18 Registry beginning April 4th 2016.  Neale comes to us with a wealth of experience gained from both the for-profit and non-profit worlds.  Most recently he served consecutively as the Director of Development for two local chapters of national non-profit organizations and previously has held positions in senior management at large international corporations.  He is looking forward to taking those skills in a more entrepreneurial direction as he helps guide the Chromosome 18 Registry to new heights in the position of Executive Director.

I would like to thank our Search Committee; Dave Aldrup, Jeff Borello and Brian MacDonald, for interviewing a strong field of qualitied candidates and ultimately recommending Neale to the positon.

Neale is originally from London, England and immigrated to Chicago in 1992 where he worked in the music and publishing industries.  After developing, growing and selling several successful businesses, Neale decided to devote his skills to the non-profit world when he moved to San Antonio six years ago.  In that time Neale has become very well connected with the San Antonio philanthropic and non-profit communities.  Please welcome Neale and his lovely wife Cynthia into the Chromosome 18 Registry family.

A few words from Neale:

In the very short time I have been involved with you all, I can see that passion and dedication that is involved within the Chromosome 18 Registry on so many different levels.  Being involved both as a volunteer for a national non for profit for over 18 years and then a staff member for another 4 years with two organizations, I believe has given me a unique perspective from seeing both sides of an organization.  Your time is precious and my ambition is to make the time you volunteer and fundraise to be meaningful, fulfilling and having a clear sight of the mission objective that is within reach.

I want to thank Jannine, Executive Board, Search Committee and each one of you for your confidence, support and am looking forward to being part of the Chromosome 18 family for a very long time.

Warmest Regards
Neale
