Sarah Christensen
We are thrilled to welcome Sarah Christensen to our Board. Sarah is the Director of Patient Education at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Sarah was formerly with Mayo Clinic Cancer Center in Rochester, MN. Sarah's vast business experience in cancer patient education coupled with her leadership and strategic management experience will bring new perspective to the nbmtLINK as we move forward in 2016. We welcome Sarah's passion to better serve and support patients, caregivers and her colleagues in the fight against cancer. Sarah lives in Sugarland, TX with her tennis pro husband Brian, kids Ellen (14) and Michael (12), and mother-in-law Myrt (whose two week visit has turned into a four-year stay!). They all are loving the physical warmth and hospitality of the south, and keep busy with rescue animals including five cats, two dogs, a tortoise, but sadly the hedgehog has run away.

John Jackson
Meet John Jackson of PepsiCo. John's young son, Blake, now healthy at 15, received a life-saving bone marrow transplant in 2002, when Blake was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma. John, with Pepsi for 25 years as Regional Sales Manager, has dedicated a large part of his time since his son's recovery to helping non-profits such as the Ronald McDonald House, The Rainbow Connection of Michigan, and the Brendan Filzek Childhood Cancer Assistance Fund to raise awareness and dollars to change the lives of children battling cancer. John works tirelessly improving lives by creating connections and sharing his passion through new business relationships. John lives in White Lake, MI with his wife Kelly and their two children, Kathleen and Blake.
