Congratulations to Energy junior, Timothy Chung on his acceptance into the highly selective Bank of America Student Leader Program. Out of hundreds of applications, Timothy was one of twenty Houston area students selected for an interview. This week he learned of his acceptance into the 8 week program which culminates in Washington, D.C. with a week long Student Leadership Summit. During the eight week paid internship, Timothy will work with a local non-profit organization identified by Bank of America.
This will be Timothy second summer program. Last summer he participated in Youth About Business and spent over a week in New York City.
Timothy was the first student at Energy to set up his DiscoverU account after being introduced to the organization through Emerge. If you have questions about the application process, interviews, or specific programs, Timothy is a great resource to take advantage of. Congratulations Timothy! We know you will have a wonderful experience with Bank of America this summer!
